Wow, time just gets away from you without realizing it. Dad's surgery went well, except not. They did the correct elbow, but they did the outside tendon instead of the inside tendon! Not really sure what happened there. So, he has to have a second surgery on the 17th.
Ed fixed the sink!! Dishwasher is still dead, but we do not really need it right now. It will get replaced before we sell the place. We finally found a dining room table that we like. It will come in around the 19th, so that will be nice. We have not had a dining room table since we moved here last August. It has been tv trays for us, or eating outside on the deck when the weather is nice. Ed headed to Ft. Wayne again. Not sure if he will be gone for the day or until Friday.
We heard from mom in Japan. She is having a good time, but it is a culture shock. No american television and wine is scarce. Plus, she says that things are a lot more expensive than we thought. A small (thimble size) ice cream cost her $4!! We are looking forward to more pictures and another phone call.
