My Fancy Shoes

My new shoes I wore to our "fancy" dinner on Thursday night.

Orlando

Jane was just silly.

Well, it was, once again, time to head to the Annual Sales Meeting. And, it was Orlando again. They fed us so much food and we hardly saw the outside. It was meeting after meeting after meeting. Since they fed us breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner & dessert, there was no time to just be. I arrived a little early so I could enjoy some Vitamin D and the nature trail. It was a beautiful evening and there were a few of us on the walk.

The Freight House

Wow, what a great dinner. I had Kansas City Strip with a Ceasar Salad and Broccoli. Ed had Blackened Prime Rib with a Garden Salad and a Vegetable Skewer.

We both broke down and had dessert - Creme Brulee & Triple Chocolate Brownie ala mode.

Blizzard of 2011

As you can see, the snow did not bother Justice at all. We had a hard time getting him to come inside whenever we were out there. He just wanted to play and stick his head in the snow.

The snow is so deep, my Uggs are buried to the top.

Even in blizzard conditions, he was ready & willing to play.

Dallas Trip

Well, I got the chance to go to Dallas for 2 days. Did I get to see much of it? Nope, just from the taxi windows and my hotel room window. So, here are the pictures I could get.



Gorgeous fountains that were visible from my hotel room. I wished I could just spend hours sitting out there and enjoying the beautiful weather.







The pool that I would have loved to use if there had been time. It was only in the 50s, but I would have still jumped in.

Boulevard Brewery

Ed & got lucky to get reservations for a tour of the local brewery, Boulevard. It was interesting and we got to drink some great beer after. We took a couple of pictures, they are on Ed's phone, so may take a bit to load. Until them, check out the website: http://www.boulevard.com/ If you come to visit, we can taste the local brew. However, a tour may be out of the question - we signed up for a reservation in October and could not get in until January. Give me lots of notice, and I will see what I can do.

Sorry for the Delay

It has been awhile since we updated, sorry. Things have been just crazy busy. My company reorganized the 1st of the year and my territory doubled. I am doing a lot of traveling and way too much work. I barely have time to breathe. Ed has been working steadily since moving to Missouri, which is nice.

We had a nice, quiet Christmas and New Year's. We watched a lot of football and ate some delicious food, if I do say so myself. :-)

Now, we are looking forward to the Super Bowl and, hopefully, getting to spend a little time together.

Chronic Pain

Well, it has been almost 4 weeks since I woke up with the neck pain. I was taking ibuprofen like it was going out of style. And, it did nothing to help. I had to take an over the counter sleeping pill every night to get a little bit of sleep. The doctor has put me on Flexiril, a muscle relaxer. Unfortunately, it makes me fall asleep for a minimum of 4 hours. So, I cannot take it during the day. The doctor says that I am lucky it was just my left side hurting, as my muscles are all tight from shoulder to shoulder.

Yesterday was one of the worst days. Today, it has moved into my left shoulder and I can barely lift my arm. I see the doctor again in a week. What sucks as much as the pain is the fact I am not allowed to go to boot camp or run until I see her again on the 14th. My membership at BootCamp and the gym both run out the 15th. So, I wasted my money on Groupons I cannot use.

I wish I could figure out what I did to my neck. Hoping the doctor can figure it out & fix it. Not sure how much longer I can go on with this.
