Another surprise

Finally got a picture of mama bird. Looked like she was trying to keep her eggs warm. It got cold & chilly here today. Taking a pic of her is a little difficult, but I just got into position and waited.

Turns out she was laying another egg! We will now be awaiting the arrival of beautiful triplet robin babies!!

Tuesday

Looked out the window on Tuesday and found another egg! Looks like twins.

Spring is here

Well, I looked out the window yesterday and saw a nest with a beautiful blue robin's egg in our window box. I am so excited. We have not seen the mama yet, but am looking forward to it. Ed is wavering on whether this is good or bad. Justice is not quite sure either. Also, our burning bush has finally started to bloom. This is beautiful in fall when the green leaves turn a bright beautiful red.

Look for pictures of the egg and it's progress. Hopefully, there will be pictures of the mama, too.

Pillow Fight

Every time we go to Ed's, he and Justice fight for space on the LoveSac. As you can see, Justice pretty much wins this fight. He looks so cute, that it is hard to make him move.

My Cake

This is the cake my team got for me. We had a food day, so I got to eat some yummies. The cake was pretty good. I loved the frosting.

Long Weekend

It has been a great weekend. I got into K'zoo on Friday night at Vicky's. Hung out with them for awhile, and then Justice and I hit the bed downstairs. Justice and I tried, not too successfully, to sleep on the twin bed. And the funniest thing was watching Justice try & go up the stairs to go outside - they are very narrow and very steep and he looked so funny getting up the guts to run up the stairs. I put his collar on and it changed all.

Saturday, we spent the day with Vicky, Andrea, Lori, Gramma, and Kimmer. I was hoping to see Cathy & Emma & Madison, but they could not get to Plainwell. I was quite bummed out. Sunday, it was all Lebbon/Kurt/Dunckel. We had a very loud & crowded family day. Justice was exhausted when everyone left and he was able to lay down and sleep.

Monday, I just hung out with Justice and then met Barb for lunch. We went to Champps, which is always good. Then, since I was on that side of town, I took the opportunity to visit Alyssa. I cannot believe that Josh is 8 months old and I still have not met him. Alyssa looks great, like she was never pregnant.

Today, we are hanging out in the apartment and then meeting mom and dad for dinner.

Moving forward

Listed the house today. It was a lot easier than trying to buy a house! hahaha Now, prayers and good thoughts are needed to unload this place so we start making serious plans to find a place in KC. It is so hard to do that, when you are saddled with a mortgage.

I want to thank all of you who have put me in touch with someone they know in KC. It is going to make things a lot easier. I am pretty sure that we are aware of where we do not want to live.

I have made a committment to reduce my belongings by 30%! That is tough, as it is VERY hard for me to part with anything. I have no idea where to start. To me, everything I have is necessary, even if it has not been unboxed the whole 2 1/2 years we have been here! I will keep you updated on that little experiment.
