Justice in Snow

This was a hard pic to take, since I could not get him to sit still long. He just wanted to play. He kept running after the snow flying off of the shovel.

Justice's new best friend, Buddy. Ed got this as a gift from Andrea. She made it for him at Build-a-Bear. They are fighting over it.

Justice just LOVES the snow. This snow lasted a few days and then the temps went into the 40s and it all disappeared.

We finally got a measurable snowfall. Ed & Justice were equally thrilled and could not wait to get outside and play.

Sorry

I know, many of you are just chomping at the bit to get the latest news from the Lebbon household. We have both been busy with work. We are also getting some work done around the house. The paint colors have all been picked and one of the spare rooms is painted. The second spare room, soon to be Stacy's craft room, had to have some electrical work done, so it is taking a little longer than expected.

We finally got snow!! It snowed Sunday, Tuesday and it is snowing today. We are supposed to get about another inch today. We took pictures of Justice playing in the snow while Ed was shoveling the driveway. New pictures will be added soon.

Oh, and we finally sold Stacy's truck!! It actually sold a lot faster than we had planned. Transfer of title happened on Tuesday and it is out of our driveway.

New Schedule

Just wanted to let everyone know that I started my new schedule this week. I now work Tuesday - Friday 1pm-10pm and Saturday 10am-6pm. This means that I am off of work from 6pm on Saturday until 1pm on Tuesday.

Ed is headed to Michigan next week. He is going to some training for his job and the classes are in Saginaw. Hopefully, this will be it for travelling for awhile.

How funny is this? Got it from ESPN.com and had to share it with everyone. Of course, this is only funny if you watch football.

BooHoo for the Buckeyes!

Well, everyone knows that Michigan took a whipping at the Rose Bowl. Living and working in Ohio means that we got our fair share of Ohio State fans rubbing the loss in our face. So, if anyone saw the National Championship game last night, you know that I did a little bit of gloating when I came into work today. Everyone was so sure that OSU would trounce the Gators. Unfortunately for them, it went the other way. I believe the final score was 41-14, in favor of the Florida Gators!!!! Below is the Haiku that a friend of mine wrote.

Weekend

We had a great weekend. Andrea & Vicky arrived on Friday and we all went out to dinner to a new mexican restaurant. It was okay, but we will not go again. On Saturday, we woke up and had a HUGE breakfast at Perkins Restaurant and then headed to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The National Air Force Museum is located there. It is amazing! We only made it through a quarter of it and we are looking forward to going back. Ed had never been to an IMAX, so we all took time out of our walking and saw a movie - "Figher Pilot: Operation Red Flag." It was pretty good, but the theatre looked smaller than other IMAX theatres I have been at. Saturday night, we made pizza and watched a movie, "Lemony Snicket and a Series of Unfortunate Events." Weird movie, but not bad. I understand that it was based on a book series, so am wondering if there will be more. They left after breakfast on Sunday morning. It was really great having family here. I did not realize how much I miss being closer to them.

On Sunday night, New Years Eve, Ed and I stayed home. This is our tradition. We do not enjoy the crowds or the traffic. It is nice staying home and just enjoy each other's company. We watched a couple of really great concerts in HD. We saw Sheryl Crow in Ohio (right up the road, actually) and U2's Vertigo Tour from Chicago. Both were previously recorded, but they were phenomenal! After, we switched over to MTV and watched the ball drop at midnite. Then we watched a few more musical acts and headed to bed.

On Monday, we had a few friends over to watch the Rose Bowl. The game was a huge disappointment, but the food was pretty good. Justice loved all of the attention he got this weekend. I think he will be very needy the next couple of days.
